Co-Lab

Art Kontainer, Talinn, Estonia, 2008

Curated by Orion Maxted

Co-Lab Deconstruction/Reconstruction was a cross between an exhibition, a durational live art event, and a residency in a constant process of evolution as new pieces were made in the space throughout the duration of the event, in response to the pieces which were already there. Each artist initially contributed 1 static piece of work, or performed on the first night. Thereafter, on each of the subsequent days, collaborative groups would be formed in the mornings, to make new pieces and present them to an audience, in the evenings.
