Punch & Judy Man
Trevor Jennings, the longest serving Punch & Judy man in the country, performs his full set in the lounge of his bungalow in Bognor Regis. The camera focusses upon Jennings’ face as he performs in front of, rather than within, his traditional Punch & Judy booth.
Jennings’ magician father introduced him to the entertainment business when he was 8-years old and presented him with a set of celluloid puppets and child sized booth to perform in. With the support of his father, Jennings became a professional Punch & Judy man, giving his first professional show in 1943.
